After seeing Pak Dodo at a number of children’s parties, I had always been really impressed.
The party planning starts when he comes to your house to discuss to format you would like to go with. During this meeting we talked about the number of children, the types of games I’d like, whether or not I’d like to include a balloon man and face painter and whether I wanted the bouncy castle / inflatable slide that he also supplies. The party I hosted was for my 5 year old and we had around 30 kids in total. Pak Dodo can supply plastic chairs and tables (for watching the show and for the food) he also comes with his own music system, microphone and everything needed for games and the magic show.

An hour before the party started, Pak Dodo arrived to set up, this also gives him a chance to meet the birthday child (although he was pretty familiar to my son already!) The bouncy castle also arrived in good time so everything was ready to kick off by the time the first kids arrived. As an entertainer Pak Dodo is excellent at keeping the children’s attention. He sings with them, plays the guitar, allows the children to sing to the audience and is able to tailor the jokes to the age group. The games he played included a tug of war, how may clothes pegs can you clip into your hair (very popular) and the limbo to name a few. After the games he puts on a magic show, again I was really impressed, the kids were captivated and not even the adults could work out how the dove appeared out of the picture frame! After the food and some bouncing on the castle to work off the sugar, Pak Dodo brought the kids inside where they had a competition to see who was the best dancer with ‘I like to Move it Move it’ playing...this was excellent, the kids absolutely loved it.

The other thing I’d like to mention was the face painter, Prima. His designs were absolutely superb and some children left with 3 or 4 tattoos on their arms. Again the kids loved it! All in all the party was a great success, Pak Dodo has a great manner with the kids and he is also very good at getting them organised before they sit down to eat, and when the cake is arriving. Without hesitation I would use him again as my son had a superb time, and at the end of the day, that’s the most important thing!
