Laser Game Indonesia - a great party venue!

Having heard about Laser Game from his friends our son was in no doubt about where he wanted his 8th birthday party to be!

Laser Game as described by it's owner Jean-Baptiste Mounier (aka Jb);

LaserGame uses a combination of sensors, laser technology, and customized software to make the experience as surreal as a computer game. Even the theme is partly inspired by computer games. Our briefing room is done in a spaceship theme and filled with specially designed vests that have blinking sensors that players will wear during a game. As the game begins, the 2 teams enter the darkened, black-lit arena. Music and lighting effects all set the stage. The players tag their opponents with blasts of red phaser beams. When you get zapped, you simply re-energize, and get back into battle.

This is not about war... It is more a strategic tagging game. There is no pain and no paint in this game!

There are various different packages available for parties and Jb suggests that you email him if you are interested in having a party so that he can tailor a package to suit your needs.

On advise from Jb we chose a Sunday afternoon to attend as it is generally quieter than other times of the weekend. We also chose 3 sessions (2 wouldn't have been enough and after 3 children and adults alike were suitably exhausted), free flow drinks, to take our own cake and order food on arrival from Pizza Marzano. In this part of Kemang there are a huge number of different places that you can order food from for delivery to Laser Game.

We were assigned someone to look after our party on arrival and she ensured that everyone had a cup for their drinks (each cup is named), that rubbish was cleared away and that we knew when our sessions were. Rather than hire the function room we were given an area away from the main reception that allowed us space for parents to wait and for the children to sit in between sessions, there was also a table which was useful for the cake.

We did not book the entire venue as we thought that we would only have 10-12 boys attending but as it happens we had 22 including four every enthusiastic Dads who of course were more competitive than the children! Three girls also attended and loved it just as much as the boys. The only issue if you don't book the venue is the walk in customers that may arrive while you are there, it did impact on us a bit and meant that we had a 30 minute wait between session 2 and 3 but Jb cleverly advised us to have the birthday cake and present opening then.

Our son would highly recommend Laser Game for a birthday party or at any time for that matter!
