There are many excellent hotels in Jakarta that have a family Sunday brunch but we have highlighted just handful to give you a taste of what’s available.

The Dharmawangsa

The Jakarta restaurant offers a very delicious Sunday brunch served from 11:00-15:00. A buffet featuring many different types of food, including Asian and international cuisine. Lots of choice for the family and highchairs for little ones, all set in beautiful surroundings. Add to that the great service and you will enjoy a very pleasant family brunch. Over 2s eat for around 50% of the adult price.

Gran Melia

Sunday brunch is served every week from 11:30-15:00 in the Cafe Gran Via located on the 2nd floor. Children can eat for half price from the buffet or choose from the great kids menu which features pirate burgers and Barbie snacks. For entertainment clowns perform tricks and make balloon sculptures and there is a play area with toys and slides all located just in front of the cafe.

InterContinental MidPlaza

The Java restaurant, located on the 2nd floor, features an international brunch every Sunday from 12:00-15:00. To complement the family brunch, a Kids Club is available, which has some toys and games and is located adjacent to Java Restaurant and swimming pool. Hotel staff are there to watch the kids while parents eat in the Java restaurant. However, because of the layout, parents can’t see their children in the playroom. Children under 12 years old get a 50% discount and under 5 years old eat for free. Highchairs are available.

Novotel Coralia Bogor

Sunday brunch goes from 12:00-15:00 with kids over 5 years old paying 50% and those under 5 eat for free. A good kids menu is also available every day. To coincide with the overnight stays, the hotel holds the Dolfi Kids’ Party night, costing Rp 50.000 per child (for Saturday and public holiday night). The party involves snacks, activities, games, watching movies and generally having fun. The activities are for 5-12 year old children and great if you want to go away with another family. They also have the Dolfi Kids’ Club, which guests can use for free. It opens from 10:00-18:00 on weekdays and 8:00-18:00 on weekends. Babies are welcome. Club staff are in attendance to help your children enjoy the different activities available.
